walk the talk

Actually, Charlie really isn't talking yet though he does bark like a dog, growl, sing the daddy song, and say more, yes, no, that, ball, hat, uh-oh, bye, and hi. Charlie has been taking steps for about a month now and while we were in AZ he stayed up until midnight one night and was completely giddy and hilarious as he practiced and began to refine his walking skills. He is now able to walk across an entire room, turn around and walk back without falling. He has also been able to stand up in the middle of the floor without a prop a couple of times. Charlie loves to walk and always gets really excited as he strolls along. I am really excited that this developmental milestone came sooner rather than later because, well...he's heavy and though he fits onto my hip like a koala bear I'd much rather chase him than carry him.
