I detailed my car! As a mother (I am blaming my kids for this one) my car is always a mess but today when I dropped George off at preschool I was embarrassed enough to do something about it. It took me a little over three hours of vacuuming, scrubbing, and washing to get the thing looking and smelling like almost new. I also cleaned and organized the linen closet which really doesn't house any linens. It is now the very organized home to medicine, first aid, sunscreen, insect repellent, beach towels, and a couple of extra quilts.

AMY... I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH YOU!!!! I was planning to some what clean it out on Thursday but didn't get around to it since me and George ended up making cookies. Not gonna lie, it was getting pretty bad. GOOD JOB!!! (I did do the basement though, but that wasn't nearly as bad as the car)

I am super impressed!! Really your car was pretty gross and you did it yourself rather than taking it some where and then you didn't even stop but just kept going. I need to catch whatever it is you have. :)
Amy, I just read your comment on my blog about FHE with Jeff, and I laughed so hard. I had completely forgotten about that! Thanks for reminding me of the good ol' pre-kids' days. So funny.
Doesn't it feel nice to have a clean car?! My van is always a mess, and finally I had had enough and cleaned every nook and cranny. I feel so much calmer now that I drive. I had no idea that the mess was contributing to so much stress. We'll see how long it stays clean. Hopefully I'll stick with the clean trend. It really does make a difference.
I love how you write your goals down. I try to remember everything that I would like to get done, and "crazy", it seems like nothing ever gets done. I am going to start writing it down. Your are an awesome influence!!
Good job Amy! I am a crazy person about keeping my car clean, so it's never taken me that long to clean it, but don't you just love the feeling of it being all clean and tidy? I do!
