Thanksgiving, part I

I took the boys and headed to Idaho a week ago. Paul joined us on Wednesday and we returned late last night. I am so grateful for the week we were able to spend with all of my siblings and especially with Trevor as he will be leaving in December for his third tour in Iraq. We started off the week with a Thanksgiving dinner (one of three...apparently there are perks to having divorced parents) at my mom's house as well as some rough housing with the uncles.

My mom treated us to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday night. She is an amazing cook and an awesome host.

After dinner the boys took part in a good old fashioned wrestling match. This is a picture of George trying to tackle Trevor.

Charlie is more of a lover than a fighter.

George on the other hand couldn't get enough. He was like the energizer bunny but paid for it later that night when he threw up. Actually I take that back--I paid for it.

Travis and George. George couldn't get enough of this. I think he hit his head on the ceiling once.

Your boys look so sweet. Though I grew up with only brothers, I had no idea how much fun it was to actually have a little boy. I love the tough and the gentle, sweet personality. I love my boy. It looks like yours had way too much fun with their uncles.

I didn't know he threw up that night. You really did get the bad end of that deal. At least Georgie had fun while it lasted.

Fun! I wish I could have made it back to Idaho for the holidays, but it costs a small fortune to fly us all back there these days. Congrats on posting so quickly....I think it will be January before I get caught up with all this holiday ruckus going on.

Fun times with the family! So sad that George threw up (for you both). I remember the year we were at Driggs for Thanksgiving and Trevor threw up from eating so much and drinking water from the rain gutter...then he ate more. I love your family!

So sorry about the vomit. My kids have played themselves sick before too. Your mom is so great, it looks like you had a fun Thanksgiving.
