I feel a parental obligation (not sure why) to take my kids to get their picture taken on (or around) their b-day though I usually wonder why during the chaos that always surrounds the event. Charlie was a wild man during his photo shoot at Target last week. He wouldn't put down his doggy until the photographer let him play with her toy truck so besides the close up we didn't get a picture without a prop but I do love how much he loves his doggy. He is a very handsome little boy.

He is so dang cute!! I love the one from behind of him and his puppy. He is such a fun little boy and I can't believe how fast he is growing up. I can't wait to see both your boys this weekend.

So cute!!! I couldn't get a shot without a prop at our christmas shoot also. They turn out so cute anyway though. plus you'll remember the things he was into at the time this way. I also loved the one from behind! They did a great job!

Very cute - I always force the b-day pics too but I'm glad I did when it's all over. His pics turned out great - the close-up is my favorite.
Love the photos! I'm with everyone else on the one from the back and the close-up. I think the last time I took my kids to get a formal picture was when Halle was a baby. Need to work on that. Actually, maybe I will just have you do a little photo shoot for me the next time we are out there.
Love the dog shots! He is adorable! I used to feel the same thing now I just take them myself...well now just of the one that can't move and ignore my pleas to smile at me!
I also HAVE to get my kids pictures taken on or around their birthday. You have to document in pictures the progression of time! He is so adorable though! They turned out great!
