My newest niece, Alexandria Beard, made her world debut this evening and I was there! Though I have given birth twice it was my first bystander experience and it was a truly amazing event. There are lots of photos coming but at this late hour a sneak peek will have to do.

she is so gorgeous! I cannot wait to meet her! I am so bummed that I couldn't be there to welcome her to the world. Oh well, she will meet her favorite Aunt Darc soon enough!
