It's a new school year and we are trying a new school and I am crossing my fingers that George has a good experience this year.
We attended his preschool orientation a couple of weeks ago after which the following conversation took place...
Me: So what did you think of your school?
George: It was wonderful!
Me: I am so glad you liked it.
George: But I never want to go back.
Me: Grrr
But guess what? He was wrong. When I picked him up after his first day he said it was "cool" and has admitted that he is excited to go back. Hooray! I hope it lasts.
