Today we road bikes over to the mostly complete amphitheater near our house. The boys played in the huge and probably unsafe pile of dirt and construction debris clad in pajamas and snowmobiling helmets. It was four o'clock in the afternoon but in their defense (and mine) they weren't the same pajamas they slept in last night. And because nothing says Irish like a pile of dirt (I know that makes no sense but it's all I've got) here are some phone pics for your viewing pleasure.

Wow...that's like boy heaven.
"Nothing says Irish like a pile of dirt" hahahaha I love you.
hahaha. I love the "Eagles". Like alot.
Funny! Boys do love dirt - American and Irish!
Did they happen to dig out a potato or two?
You are one fun mom! I don't know too many who would spend an afternoon playing in a gigantic pile of dirt. That truly is boy heaven.
I saw a glimpse of the mountains behind the pile of dirt. I forget how massive and beautiful they are. I hope one day we'll get closer to them.
That looks like the best way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day to me!
Wow, that pile of dirt stresses me out! What a mess your boys must have been, but I bet they loved every second of it!
Dirt rocks!! Alex loves dirt too and she is a girl. The park is her new favorite place.
I love it! What is it about dirt anyways?
