This morning George was asked to wash all of the doorknobs in the house for his "act of kindness" (it is a miracle music thing) and was totally pumped.
George: Mom, what's my act of kindness?
Me: I need you to wash all of the doorknobs.
George: Oh yeah! Now I'll get to find out how many doors we have in our house!
[5 minutes later]
George: Mom! Mom! We have 14 doors in our house! Aren't we lucky?
And a special thanks to my cousin Andrea (one of my mom mentors) who let me keep her late last night so she could advise me on my many parenting woes.
