Monday night my mom treated us to Joe's Crab Shack. I love Joe's. I love it because I can eat good food and they have a great play place for the boys. Unfortunately, Monday night wasn't the relaxing experience I had hoped it would be.
Prior to arriving at Joe's I took my boys to get their hair cut and let them get their hair styled in a fohawk with colored gel. Charlie chose blue and George chose orange. The result was some slightly white trash looking boys who thought they were too cool for school. Then Charlie got in a fight with a little boy at the playground and as I ran to intervene the little boy's older brother sucker punched Charlie and he fell to the ground. Charlie obviously got the worst of it but the other mother looked at us like we were wearing wife beaters and denim overalls with our colored fohawk's.
He didn't want his picture taken.
But we got one when he wasn't looking.
Then Paul got him ready for bed.
In other news...George does his own hair now.

Holy cow! Poor boy... I hate when people are rude. They sure are cute though.
It was great seeing you guys.
So who taught him to do his hair in a fohawk anyway? I must admit it does kind of fit his crazy personality.
I'm glad I wasn't there! Charlie may have seen a new side to his Aunt Lori! (Ask Paul about the kid who was bullying him on the bus when he was about 5 or 6)
Fun night -- I felt like I was in Idaho :)
I always miss the good brawls. :(
I can't believe Charlie got punched... He's too cute for someone to want to punch him :-( On the other hand I LOVE how George styles his own hair. You never know, maybe some day he'll grow up to be a hair dresser and say his Nanny inspired him, lol.
Let's be honest...we all have a little bit of white trash in us we are just good at hiding it.
What? The other mom didn't do anything? Maybe your boys had crazy hair but her son hit your son! People are so stupid!
I wanna sucker punch someone now! Nobody better mess with them boys
I'm still laughing at Darci's comment. Although the situation was very sad for your boys, I have to say you have a great way of writing about it. I love the wife-beater/overall reference.
