During one of my recent business trips Paul and I had the following text exchange:
Paul: Did you know that class pictures were today?
Me: No! Do the boys look cute?
Paul: No. They dressed themselves and have bedhead. What do I do?
Me: Crap. I don't know. Don't worry about it.
So we paid $51.95 for these. We weren't obligated to buy them but we felt it was our responsibility as parents to purchase these overpriced pictures...because they're funny.
I told George he was in big trouble for getting that close to a river without his life jacket on. He tried to explain that it wasn't real but I just didn't get it.
Charlie told me that they made him wear chapstick. It also looks as though they may have washed his face.
And my personal favorite...
Paul and I burst out laughing when we saw this. George said, "The picture people made us do that." Thank you picture people.

Those are AWESOME!! Even though they didn't get ready, they still look SUPER cute! The last one is amazing and I can't believe they made the boys do that, lol!!
Your boys are cute, but those pictures are so funny. Chapstick? I don't remember our picture people caring so much, in a really germy way. The last picture had me laughing hard. Your comments made this all too real. So funny!
The pictures really aren't that bad considering you forgot it was picture day. They're actually quite cute! The last pic is to die for! They will soooo hate that picture when they are older.
I think they look great. It's always nice when the camera captures the real person. Proud to call them my grandkids!!!
I want one of the pics of them together too. They are so dang cute even if the pose was staged :) Looking at some of the other kids I don't think that the other parents remembered it was picture day either. Everyone is their natural self :)
I am glad I am not the only one who pays top dollar for those ridiculous photos. I can honestly say that I have never seen such an amazing background....go Lifetouch! That last one is just awesome.....you should make it your new blog header. I love it!

Your posts always give me a good laugh. I love those boys!! The last picture really is great and totally worth the $51. Alex liked them too. She heard me laughing and ran over to see then burst out laughing too.
