I am hoping that this Carlsbad beach vacation thing can become an annual event for us. I have never felt so relaxed coming off of a vacation as I did after a week at the beach. It was amazing. The boys dug holes and swam for 6-8 hours a day.

I'm jealous that they got to play in the ocean and on that awesome sandy beach day after day. You should this every year!
We loved living by the Oregon coast for 6 + years and we miss it. Kids can be as noisy and messy as they want and the ocean is louder than they are. I enjoy the beach, but as a family, it's the best!
