We took our first trip to Disneyland over February break. The boys had tons of fun and got to enjoy Disneyland with their Herway cousins which made the trip even more fun for them and us. I didn't expect it to be so cold and windy and was really cold for most of the trip (I was the only one in my family that was cold because girls have a different inner thermometer than boys do) and came home with a bad cold. Paul officially grounded me from packing my cold weather clothes for future trips. I'll probably be wearing a beanie, neck gater, down coat, boots, and other cold weather gear on our next trip to a place where the forecasted tempeture is 40-50 degrees but I perceive that to mean warm because I have been living in a place where the temperature hasn't reached above 30 degrees in many moons.
The trip was a total success. The boys got along super well and Henry was a total champ. It was fun to have a week to play with the kids in one of the happiest places on earth.

Disneyland
As you will see if you choose to look through the following onslaught of photos...Charlie has issues with smiling for the camera.
George is frowning in order to make Charlie smile.
Cars Land really was awesome and was magical for Mr. Charles.
I found it interesting (though it makes sense) that all of the characters including the cars have several handlers that surround them at all times.
George has started flashing gang signs when he poses for pictures. I am so proud.
I really really love this sweet babe. So glad he's mine!
Mickey's handler got a little nervous at this point.
Getting ready for Star Tours
Cousins waiting in line for the Matterhorn
George loves Zane. I am grateful that Zane is such a good boy and so sweet to George.
Riding Autopia with Charlie is one of my trip highlights. He was hilarious. He was so excited to drive but could barely see over the steering wheel. I had my foot on the gas and he kept begging me to bump Lara and Brauer who were in front of us. We both laughed hysterically during the entire ride. So fun!
Look at those lashes. Love this boy!
He kind of likes me too.
Monorail
Watching the parade
I love this picture of Daphne and Scarlet waving to Tinkerbell.
I can't do anything that spins. I'll ride The Tower of Terror all day long (I love that ride) but I can't spin or I'll be ruined for the rest of the day. Paul is a good support.
Phineas and Ferb dance party. George loves a good dance party.
Radiator Racers
George wanted Paul to buy me this Piston Cup. I am the best wife ever.
Classic.
The boys were so excited to ride Peter Pan with Kayvon. He's the coolest kid ever and the Pied Piper of the cousins.
I might be persuaded to do this again in three or four years.
