I am holding my dads' socks hostage. My parents moved a week ago and my dads' socks have been missing in action ever since. My dad has four drawers of socks (all organized by color/style) and my mom failed to pack one of the drawers of socks. My parents gave me their old bedroom furniture so I ended up with the socks. My dad has been really stressed about his missing socks and has been hounding my mom regarding their whereabouts. I sent him a ransom letter earlier today with attached pictures of his socks. Here it is:
I have your socks and will return them when/if the following conditions are complied with. If you contact the officials I will not cooperate and your socks will be destroyed. Your socks will be available for pick up at the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 4:00pm. This is the only time the socks will be available for pick up and will be destroyed by 4:10pm on Saturday if you are not present with valid ID. These conditions are nonnegotiable. There will be a fun cinco de Mayo fiesta following the gardens where you may wear your recovered socks if you wish. I have attached photographic proof of my possession of your beloved socks for your reference. If you wish to see your socks again please comply with all of the above demands.

That is hilarious!!! The funniest part is that Dad even cares. I mean if he is always buying the most random things, but he won't buy new socks?
hahahaha. . . seriously this is the funniest thing we have ever done. I just can't stop laughing. hahahaha. tears, hahaha! I wish you all could have been at the house the weekend mom and dad moved. Dad was going nuts over the missing socks. He must have asked mom about it, at least 50,000 times. He just walk around the house looking for his socks!
Really funny. Like Travis funny. Amy, I still think you need to do my "where in the world are Dad's socks" bit.
