Paul really, really, really hates them so I will probably be painting my nails after the kids go to bed from now on. George watched me paint my nails the other night and thought all of the tools and the process was very interesting. He asked me to paint his nails and chose the black polish I had left over from Halloween. He says they are his "Monster Hands" (Sully does have black nails). I really see no problem with painted nails on little boys and don't like making gender distinctions. I know his wife will thank me when he does the laundry, cooks, takes out the garbage, and gives her a pedicure.

Thanks for clearing up the nails. I noticed the masculine color, but then thought of scary rock stars and was concerned with what music you guys listened to.
"Monster Hands"...too funny!
I think it is way funny that everyone made such a big deal out of the nails. Zane's toes are green right now. It's just paint.
awesome
His wife will definitely thank you!
I love your (and lara's) outlook on gender distinction. I like your point...If there was a little less of it, the housework just might be a little more even. :)
I thought maybe they were bruised or something or he painted them himself. Not a big deal...just curious.
Too funny. I think I am going to start painting Trav's nails at night while he is sleeping. I need all the help I can get! What a smart woman you are.....can't wait to see the footage from their ballet classes:)
go for the toes Jason (my husband) had no problem with the toes painted. In fact we went a summer with lots of blue and green toes.
I remember putting Lee press-on nails on my brothers when we were little. They also wore my nightgowns to bed.
Both of them turned out just fine.
Plus Black nail polish is the really cool thing right now :)
