#21

We went sledding today and I honestly can't remember the last time I had so much fun (it probably really wasn't all that long ago but I have been experiencing the post-Christmas blues the past couple of days and our outing turned into a much needed magical experience for me). George was an amazing sledder. He absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go down the big hill. After 45 minutes of sledding on what he considered to be the small hill I walked him over to the ice packed big hill and he flew down it loving every minute. He walked back up to the top and then asked a lady if he could use their snow tube but he didn't like sticking his bum in the middle so ended up sitting on top and when he hit a bump he flew off and skid on his head for about five feet at which point I was very thankful for my cautious husband and his insistence on helmets (they were the only kids on the hill with helmets).

George's new signature pose

Charlie would not get out of this sled. When he got to the bottom of the hill he would stay seated and Paul or one of the uncles would picked him up and carry him and the sled back up the hill.
Here's the whole family.

Look like so much fun, I think we need to get some snow gear around here so we can do that someday.

Looks like fun. Chad took Easton on christmas day and I think we might have to go as a whole family.

And I can't believe you actually waited til Christmas morning to open your mac book. Good for you. :) Noel and I opened ours (a camera) the day we got it. haha. whoops.

Wish we had snow here! That looks like a blast, I guess we will just have to stick with ice blocking. I love the gap between Charlie's teeth too. Good for his orthodontic future:)

I am so jealous. I have wanted so badly to take my kids sledding. We don't have those opportunities down here. I'm glad you got the boost you needed. I can't believe Christmas was only one week ago. I think I might leave my tree up all year.

Sledding is the best! We went last week also. The hill was pretty icy and we mentioned more than once that we should have had helmets on our kids.

Sledding and skiing are the only things I love about the snow. Watching kids go down a hill is one of the most entertaining activities our family has done. Good for you on those helmets. It makes it a lot more fun and relaxing in my opinion.

I love the pictures, too. Your boys' expressions are adorable!
