58% ...again

I am really trying to hit 60% total savings so that I can check #20 off my list and I am oh so close. I am teaching a class at my house this Thursday at 8:00 PM on how to do what I am doing so leave me a comment if you would like to attend.

Today I spent $88.74 and saved $125.40. I purchased 49 items including several non-sale items I needed as well as several stock up (coupon + sale) items. Now that I have been couponing for about four months I am primarily shopping out of my pantry but am still going to the grocery store nearly every week to buy fresh items as well as any stock up items I need. I have cut my household budget (groceries, detergents, cleaners, toothbrushes, diapers, etc.) from $800 a month to $360 a month and my goal is to get it down to $300 a month.

Yep, I am in! (Does the cost of the class include airfare and lodging?)

That is great, don't you just love to see the savings on your receipts? I am so glad you have slashed your grocery bill so much.

I am also working to widdle down the amount I spend a month. But this week I stocked up on diapers and paper towels so my total was a lot higher than normal.

Ugh, I wish I could attend!! You have offically inspired me to check out the coupon situation in the MN area. Hopefully I can find some similar websites like in UT/ID. Cutting your budget that significantly is amazing!
