dinosaur museum

We love the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point and go there every chance we get. Here are some pics from a recent trip with our AZ cousins.

They have an erosion table which is basically a huge sand and water table with plastic dinosaurs and vegetation that the kids enjoy playing at for long periods of time.
Our cute cousin Ella at the erosion table.
Charlie preferred pushing a stroller around the museum to checking out any of the hands-on exhibits. Those are Charlie's legs. Luckily, Paul was able to rescue him from a terrible fate in the shark exhibit.
There is also an enormous sand pit where the kids can dig up fossils.
Charlie was busy working on his paint brush collection and didn't do much digging.
Our cute cousin Bennett in the sand pit.
Sweet and sassy Alisa
and little miss photogenic, Ella
George tasted a bit of sand but it wasn't what he was expecting.

Thanks to my SIL, Nicole, who taught me a bit about aperture and ISO, I am learning how to take indoor pics.

These are great pictures. You are good! You do have superior subjects. Your boys are so cute. You are raising your brothers you know -- especially Charles!

Love the pictures! We were going to go to the museum today but the snow storm stopped us. There were many tears in my household over it. Maybe another day.

As I was looking at your pictures, I wondered how you were able to take non-fuzzy pictures. All of the pictures I ever took at Thanksgiving Point are so dark and fuzzy. Great pictures, Amy. Very impressive. I love the photo of your son's legs wagging right in front of the shark!
