Little Red Riding Hood

I couple of weeks ago I participated in my first ever organized bike ride. It was also the fifth time I had ever been on my new and totally awesome cyclocross bike (basically a road bike with slightly bigger tires because I am afraid of falling) and I road 37 miles. I am super proud of myself and had a great time. My sister, Tyra, and I road together (she was six week postpartum at the time and is way cooler than me) and my mom and Lara road 67 miles together. The ride is really cool because it is in Logan so it is beautiful and it is only women so it is very non-competitive. Also, all of the proceeds benefit cancer research which is an added bonus. I really had a great time and think I am going to try to do this ride every year.

This picture doesn't accurately depict how blazing fast I was pedaling.

Me and Tyra at the finish line (Hawaiian theme this year).

Your amazing. That looks so fun, and so exhausting. I kind of want a bike now.

Man, I almost didn't see you in that photo, because I know, you were FLYING down that road! :)
Seriously though, you rock! Congrats for doing such a great job. Gosh, I think I am cool when I take the kids for a ride on my bike and I pull the little kiddie trailer behind down like 1 mile. Awesome job!
