A sometimes day...

I was doing some significant grumbling one morning during our Driggs stay and my BIL Dan asked me what was going on. I told him that I was getting ready to change my four year olds poopy pull-up (George was listening in so I used my best I am really mad at the person who did this voice). George wears a pull-up to bed and enjoys hanging out in his own sogginess after he wakes up even though he is very well aware of my disdain for this practice. Anyway, on that particular morning while watching his cartoons he was too busy to take a bathroom break and pood in his pull-up. I was seriously ticked. While changing/lecturing him he said, "Mom, sometimes four year olds poo and pee in their pull-ups and mom today is a sometimes day."

This little George-ism did wonders for lightening my mood on that particular morning.

Amy.......I have a four year old who has those days too. Some kids just take longer to figure out the whole potty thing. Pull ups are my best friend sometimes, especially after changing the sheets for 5 nights in a row. He will get it, probably when you stop stressing about it:)

You should write a book with the things that kid says. Seriuosly. He is so funny.
ps: My boys took FOREVER to potty train.
