Halloween Eve

I love Halloween. I love to dress up, I love to dress my kids up, and I am totally into eating soup and going trick-or-treating but here we are on Halloween eve and I find myself feeling frazzled and weary and wondering if there is a way to skip tomorrow all together. Today is the first day that Charlie has felt well in a week but he is still fairly crabby and freaks out when the wrong person gets his drink, picks up his beps, changes his diaper, or sneezes. George is incredibly emotional, super naughty, and won't listen to a word I say. He has been like this all week and I can't figure it out. I am trying really hard but my patience is gone. It was gone yesterday. So before we headed out to our ward party and trunk-or-treat I took some pictures of the boys in their costumes.

Charlie is a dalmatian again. He knew from day one that he wanted to be a doggy and there was no convincing him to try something else which was totally fine with me because I think he is an adorable doggy and Old Navy had this cute costume and I love their costumes because they are super warm and I hate the thought of my kids being cold.

George wanted to be a banana this year. He tried to convince Charlie to be a gorilla but Charlie wouldn't even consider it so then George tried to convince me but gorilla costumes are really expensive so he had to settle for being a lone banana.

p.s. During the photo shoot George threw a fit because he wanted to be the one to take the pictures and because he wanted me to say, "say dirty cheese" when I took the pictures. I took George to his room and then Charlie told me, "Don't do that to my brother." Awesome.

Your kiddos look super cute in there costumes! I love how original they are. I hope everything goes smooth tomorrow. Halloween is super fun but also stressful for me too. (as all holidays are) Good luck to you, you're gonna be in trouble if your boys keep ganging up on you! :)

CUTE Boys! Halloween can be a demanding hard holiday for Moms... You are an awesome Mom even if you didn't dress up as a gorilla :)

Sounds like you are in a rough spot at your house right now. I'm sorry, we all go through it and I feel your pain. Maybe they will surprise you and tomorrow will go amazingly well.

I love that Charlie has his doggie and his Lightening McQueens in the pic with him. George is the moodiest but cutest banana I have ever seen.

Where to begin? In the pics alone, completely adorably cute boys, even if there is a scary banana. Seriously, Charlie is such a sweet-looking boy. He almost makes me want to get a dalmation puppy. I'm sorry they've not been themselves lately. I know how that makes you feel. It makes me want to crawl into my bed and close my eyes until someone more experienced comes along and fixes everything. And, honestly, I love "dirty cheese". That kid might be naughty, but he is so funny. Good luck there, Mama.
