Road Warrior Tales

In July I did some work for the University of New Haven in Connecticut and got to stay at a hotel located on the Yale campus. I had a lot of fun exploring campus and pretending stuff. I am really immature.

I love this building. It is the only modern building I encountered on campus and I love that it appears to be floating. It is the Rare Books and Manuscripts Library.

I was immediately drawn to this building and had high hopes of capturing an enchanting photo...
but a student crew was filming there, so instead I watched them shoot this scene about 15 times. The guy on the scooter is wearing briefs. Briefs are funny. He got hurt during one of the takes.

This was the view from my hotel room.
So are these...

Then I visited one of my friends who lives in the cutest little (what I imagine to be quintessential New England) town ever.

There are a bunch of islands in this area and many of them are privately owned. Not too shabby.

What a cool trip, thank you for sharing your photos! I would live to go see that campus, it looks amazing. Also, feel free to visit my "quintessential southeast Ohio town" anytime!

Great pictures. You should invite me on one of your trips. Sometime. Like around my birthday. Or something.

Loved seeing all the pictures.. especially since Andres was just there near New Haven a few weeks ago for business and didn't take the camera. Don't you just love discovering new places...

Looks awesome. It reminded me of Gilmore Girls. Don't tell me I am the only fan because I know I am not.

I love the east! I love old, beautiful architecture. I really love everything about it. You are lucky to get to spend time at such awesome places.
