Our Hebgen Lake trip was packed into a single day this year but we definitely made the most of it. My fun aunts and cousins let us play with them for a day and we had an amazing time. Plus we got to spend some time with my Grandma and Grandpa Hall which always buoys me up but is extra special in a cool nostalgic way when that time is spent at Hebgen Lake.
The most amazing part of the day for me was when George told my Aunt Jan that he wanted to learn to water ski. I actually tried to talk him out of it but he was determined to give it a try. My Aunt Jan and I got in the water with him and while Jan was providing some instruction we got this little George-ism:

George: Can I just sing my favorite song so that I don't get scared?
Jan: That is a great idea. Do you have a favorite Primary song?
George: No, my favorite song is the Sponge Bob Theme Song.

After a handful of tries with the skis, George gave knee boarding a go and made a nice loop around the lake. I was very proud.

I love that place.
Great pictures, Amy! Your boys get cuter and cuter, that's for sure.
We just moved near Lake Tahoe, and seeing these makes me anxious to get to the lake and play.
By the way, I saw your mom in my parents' ward during my last week in Idaho Falls. I wanted to say hi, but I had a little 18 month old who kept me busy running around. I hoped that I could visit Utah and see you, but we never made it. The next time I'm in I.F. I'll see if you are visiting by chance.
Very cute! I love that George's favorite song is the SpongeBob theme song, that's awesome! Also, could Mona look anymore like Darci? Twinners! Looks like a great trip, those were fun pictures.
Fun times!! YOu have some good looking genes in your family!! Is Mona Darci's baby!? They look exactly alike especially the picture of her on the driggs post!
Well HEY to a fellow blogger ... who knew, right? These kinds of trips are always the BEST!!! My kids LOVE to go boating and (sadly) we have only been able to go a handful of times in their whole lives! Boo!
Looks like a blast! ;)
Just wanted to let you how much I appreciated your comment on my blog. You are a wonderful friend, Amy.
