My cute Charlie boy...

We got home from Driggs late Sunday night and even though Charlie has been able to sleep in his own crib he has continued to wake up screaming in the middle of the night. Last night was Paul's turn to get up with him and this morning he made me realize that this wasn't just an "off schedule" or "teething" so I finally took him to the doctor and he has a double ear infection. Now I am not so sure that it was the pack 'n play that was upsetting him so much in Driggs but more likely an ear infection that hurt even more than normal because we were at a higher elevation. He hasn't had a fever so I didn't think he was sick and instead made up the great pack 'n play mishap. Today I learned that only half of kids who have ear infections get a fever. Seriously, why don't they tell you these things before they let you bring a baby home from the hospital?

This is the only picture I have of Charlie's cute new teeth. He doesn't like to show them off so I am glad that they made an appearance in this picture.

That is so sad. Poor little guy. I'm glad you got to the bottom of this. It's just so heartbreaking to watch your baby suffer.

I am sorry to hear that Charlie hasn't been feeling well. Ouch, double ear infections. I hear that it is going around though. This is like the 4th case, atleast, that I have heard. I am so glad that you took him to the doctor and found out what was wrong. You are a great mommy!

Love the teeth photo. Check out Jackson's on my page. They both have their bottom 2 teeth now.

Poor little Charlie, what a cutie with the new little teeth. My kids never got fevers either. Mason has had two burst. I felt horrible when I finally figured out what was wrong.

I'm so sorry to hear that your little guy is sick! Glad you found out what it was! Alex gets double ear infections so often, I'm glad she can now communicate with me to TELL me that her ears hurt...or else I would have had no idea!
Charlie is such a cute little boy(with such a cute name)! I hope he gets better fast! See you at the the family party!

Dude, I hate it when I am so wrong about something and it ends up hurting my kids. Example of the month: feeding my five year old rotten organic ketchup. HUGGGHHHH!! Like it isn't hard enough being a mom. I didn't know that about ear infections. I guess my kids always get fevers. Well, I love you and I love Charlie.

I hate ear infections!!! My kiddos never got fevers with their ear infections and I have been through far too many for my liking. Thank goodness for tubes in Ella's case. Sorry little Charlie but thank goodness for antibiotics!

I too did not know that my baby had a double ear infection a few weeks ago. Hum, is that contagious? Sorry if he got it from my little dude!
