Me: George, I have to go to a meeting tomorrow and will be gone all day but you will have Aunt Darc.
George: Are you going to a meeting to learn to be a better mom?
Me: No...Do you think I should.
George: Yes.

If our kids only knew that being a better mom is what encompasses most of our thoughts and hopes. Now, they just need a class in how to be a better kid!
:) He doesn't mean it rude. Right? Besides, you are a way good, super awesome mom who doesn't need any classes to get better.
Ha! Maybe you should stop trying to be a better mom and he'll just forget...That's what I'm doing. :) I've just accepted the fact that Andrew wants to live at someone else's house. Like every day.
In George's defense... You do like to go to a lot of "meetings" about becoming a better mom. Heck you've taught some of them, he's just making sure you stay current. :)
My kids say stuff like this to me all the time. Yesterday, Tommy asked me if I was having another baby because I was getting a big belly again. Then that night, Anna told me I was the best mom ever, which lead Tommy to chime in, "Except when Mom gets mad, then she's the craziest."
I love reading your ism's, by the way.
you're one of the best moms i know.
You are one of the most rockinest moms I know...at least you better be because I have taken everything I know from you and Lara...
kids can be so mean... Ezra tells me multiple time a day "Mom, I don't like you." sniff sniff
I like what Reese said, if you find a class for them on being better kids, sign us up!
Oh my gosh! Way to try to have a good attitude about this one! Don't worry though, whenever I ask Madison if I'm a nice mom or a mean mom, she always says that I'm mostly mean and a little nice.
We talk a lot about having a good attitude and how only you can make you have a good day by having a good attitude. Leah just told me today that she is going to do everything she can to make sure I have a bad day. Wow!
Leave it to our kids to keep our self esteem nice and low.
I agree with La. You are a super awesome Mom and I totally look up to you. I love how you always have such a good attitude and have so much fun with your kids. I am trying to follow your example.
